Art and Craft Markets
I hope people out there know how much time and effort is put to all the pieces that are displayed for sale at craft markets. In my case, I’m all by myself. I just finished my first outdoor street festival at Haultain Park. I drove, I lugged merchandise and set up shop 9am today and I’m exhausted.
Here’s a couple pictures of a table decoration I wanted, so it would boost interest for people to come to my table. Here’s a before and after look of it, which was all hand sewn.

It was an okay street festival, but it was pretty darn chilly here. I sold a painting, a greeting card and an ascot scarf, so I was happy. I’m always happy to see that someone likes and appreciates my work.
However, it takes the stuffing out of me. So, I don’t think I’ll be attending another market until maybe November. I will for sure take part of a December market (if I can make it on the list). So, if there is any work in progress pictures to showcase, it will likely be my scarves. My knitwear seems to be the key to most of the shows I attend.
Time to relax and focus on all the things I need to do for my overseas vacation. Hooray!
