Moonrise Kingdom

I’m looking forward to Wes Anderson’s next film, “Moonrise Kingdom”. The cinematography looks spectacular! In fact, the above image reminds of paintings by Canadian painter/artist, Alex Colville. He paints with great detail; yet restraint with the people and objects in the compositions. There’s something very serene with his paintings and I felt the same when I watched the trailer for Moonrise Kingdom.

I’m looking forward to the film’s release.
